JAYANA (LEFT) AND JALIA (RIGHT) CREIGHTON were very successful at the Rooks County Free Fair Dog Show held the first week of August. Jayana and Rocky received a Blue ribbon and Reserve Grand Champion in Fitting & Showing, a Grand Champion in Obedience, a Reserve Champion in Off Lead Agility, and the Best of Show. For this Jayana received a book bag sponsored by Heritage Insurance Group. Jalia and Lucy received a High Scoring Off Lead Dog trophy sponsored by K & W Meat Processing, Grand Champion in Showmanship along with a blanket sponsored by Doug and Kori Bigge, and a book bag, sponsored by Heritage Insurance Group, for sub novice. 2020 SHS GRADUATE SHELBY BOND sports her “Stockton Class of 2020” facemask prior to Commencement in July..

HUDSON MUIR and his bucket calf Star took part in Thursday afternoon’s Beef Show at the Rooks County Free Fair. The name Star was chosen because the calf is so dark and it has the marking of a star.

PART OF THE FUN at the Fair is catching up with friends. Hayzen Elliott of Plainville and Kyan Bigge of Stockton did just that as they were awaiting their turn in the show ring during 4-H activities last Thursday at the Rooks County Free Fair.

THIS CUTE LITTLE GIRL is Miss Lucy Strutt. Although there was no carnival at this year’s Fair, this animal loving girl enjoyed seeing and getting a chance to pet some of the 4-H Livestock at Rooks County’s 4-H Livestock Fair last week. She is the daughter of Kyle Strutt and Sierra Brown of Woodston.
